MoDOT Union Road closing: Union
Road will continue to be closed from Spring Drive to the northbound
Interstate 55 on ramp for bridge construction.
It is expected to reopen by the fall of 2010.
The
northbound I-55 on-ramp from Union Road will close from
July 12 until the end of September. |

located in St. Anthony's Medical Plaza building on Southfork Road, at the
corner of Tesson Ferry and Schuessler Roads, just behind St. Anthony's

New Moms Network meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of
the month in the Hyland Education and Training Center. This offers new
moms the opportunity to meet new friends, share information and
experiences and support each other. Babies are welcome and encouraged. No

A new collaborative partnership to assist the poor and needy in supplying
basic food needs to the Affton Community (unofficial estimate is 7500-8500
persons). Affiliated Member Churches: Affton Christian Church, Cure of Ars, Our Lady of Providence,
Rooftop Community Church, Saint Dominic Savio,
Saint George, Saint Mark, Salem Lutheran, Seven Holy Founders, Zion
Methodist, and St. Simon the Apostle. If you would like to help, or if you have a need, please call

Do you recycle?
Drop off your recycling at any school in the Affton or Bayless area.
Deposit old newspapers, shopping catalogs, computer paper, Fax paper, office paper,
envelopes, non-confidential junk mail, and
magazines at the yellow and green dumpsters on their parking
lots. NO plastic, glass, food wrap, tissue products, phone books,
or cardboard.
You can also drop off aluminum cans at Bayless and Seven Holy
Founders schools.

stores, restaurants, and retail stores in varied amounts. A percentage of
the proceeds is then returned to the school. This is a dollar for dollar
transaction, therefore, you lose nothing but the school benefits. If
