MEDIA ADVISORY

 An attempted robbery took place at the 15000 block of Wynston Trace Ct  near Suson Park in South County on Sunday, May 5. A man and his wife observed two white males walking down the street near their home as they returned home at about 8:30 PM. A suspect pointed a gun at the man as he parked his car in the garage. The victim was slightly injured during a scuffle with the subjects who fled the area without obtaining anything of value.

 The St. Louis County Police Department Affton-Southwest Precinct has added extra patrol to the noted area above, and will continue to search for the suspects involved. This is the second similar incident in a relatively close proximity within the last month, with the last being 5400 block of Milburn on April 20th. (Further below)

 The St. Louis County Police Department asks that residents advise their local police on any suspicious subjects or vehicles in their neighborhoods.  3 White males all with darker skin (2x late 20s-early 30s 1x younger early 20s) armed with handguns, When elderly mother of the homeowner opened the door, three males were standing there and pushed their way inside. One of the males striking elderly woman. They tied up the middle aged homeowner before they left. Took unknown amount of cash and jewelry.
